Dune Buggy

The Dune Buggy, dust clouds, and shadow were rendered in Bryce, and composited into the scene I rendered in Terregen.

DragonSlayer

He tricked the beast into wedging itself in a tight place, but it still looks like a tough fight.

DreamCatcher

Fascinating how this fractal not only came out looking feathery, but appearing to be affected by gravity.

First Light

My PC updated to Windows 10, and it seemed to go flawlessly until trying to run the scripts to setup this image. Permissions were easy to fix, but an unused mysterious missing font turned out to be the thorn in the watermarking script.

Greenhouse

Anybody seen the watering can? The column is made from knot parts from Steven Abbott's Knots3d program.

Harvest Time

Problems with a new video card not wanting to handle complicated images, had me change to new subjects 4 times. I rushed to replace the broken one without doing enough research.

Liquid Lights

An actual 3d fractal flame, hovering over an ocean. It's actually a composite of 3 renders, one of the 3d fractal, one of an ocean at the same angle, and a 2d version of the fractal used to cast reflections in the water.

Matter

If you back out far enough to see some of the shape the atoms are forming, you are too far away to see them. So I made them reflect a common tree. And like looking at shapes in the clouds, it's easy to see things in the tree as well.

Mountain Frost

Freezing mist clings to every surface, painting the world white.

I've been going back and forth working on this and another image. Apparently this one won, the other still has a few hours work to go.
