  Matter

If you back out far enough to see some of the shape the atoms are forming, you are too far away to see them. So I made them reflect a common tree. And like looking at shapes in the clouds, it's easy to see things in the tree as well.

I kept most of the test renders to experiment with making a slideshow of it's creation. It showed me I rendered over 90 test renders.

  Dark Side of the Moon

The space scenes are the most clicked on in the Sci-Fi gallery, so I will be adding more planetary images. They will probably remain in the sci-fi gallery, as the scaling and positioning of even the most realistic scenes, will still be dictated by composition more than reality.

I like the symmetrical designs, I try to resist, but the simplistic composition draws me back.

I love how dramatic this one is. I wanted more room to better see the lighting effects around the windows, but the composition worked better this way.
