Thank you Sydney for the winning name! I can't declare winner on Facebook because their rules distance themselves from contest liability. I didn't know the definition of oracle included the knowledge & wisdom passed from an oracle, but now I realize the name fits perfectly.
If you back out far enough to see some of the shape the atoms are forming, you are too far away to see them. So I made them reflect a common tree. And like looking at shapes in the clouds, it's easy to see things in the tree as well.
An image I created originally for a board game I'm working on. However I like the lighting in this version better. The original had to be lit well for the game, and the window was dark as the game takes place overnight.
An actual 3d fractal flame, hovering over an ocean. It's actually a composite of 3 renders, one of the 3d fractal, one of an ocean at the same angle, and a 2d version of the fractal used to cast reflections in the water.
An Antique music box. I tried to make a video of the creation of the music box and final image but lost a bunch of the slides. Out of frustration, this one didn't get finished until I had nearly forgot about it all.
Not exactly the design I started out to make. However, the puzzle piece took so long, I will have to eventually make the other design to justify the time I spent trying to get the top rounded just right.
