If you back out far enough to see some of the shape the atoms are forming, you are too far away to see them. So I made them reflect a common tree. And like looking at shapes in the clouds, it's easy to see things in the tree as well.
I didn't use lo-res models as the tiny trees in the background, so this image had over 22 trillion polygons. (69.6 trillion when rendering the dynamically generated parts.) Defiantly NOT a model of efficiency.
This started as an experiment with steam. Part of my Onyx Table series. This is a remake of the 1999 original. So it would work better with wider formats, I added a reflection in the back as well as modeling a better cup.
Late 1800's/early 1900's stock ticker. Stock tickers used to be used as symbols of success. I created the model from scratch, so I will definitely use it again, to make up for the time it took to make.
