  Hockey Puck

I should probably do more sport still-lifes, as my soccerball image has been my best seller for posters & merchandise. Even the grass from that one was used on a Canadian postage stamp.

  Mountain Sunset

I didn't use lo-res models as the tiny trees in the background, so this image had over 22 trillion polygons. (69.6 trillion when rendering the dynamically generated parts.) Defiantly NOT a model of efficiency.

  Mist In The Wood

Originally I had an old road running through the woods, but it was hidden under the snow. I am really glad I switched to a stream, it's much more intriguing.

  Candle in the Window

I started the candle last year for a holiday image, but didn't finish in time. I almost forgot about it.

  Mountain Frost

Freezing mist clings to every surface, painting the world white.

  Winter Aerium

Bryce 5's trees refused to work the way I wanted, so I used complex models in the solid glass spheres instead. This turned out to be a mistake. Due to the intense reflection depth rendering, this took a week to render.

  Winter Eve

When I started this rendering it was almost warm outside. As I worked, the weather grew colder and started to snow. I'm sure that was just a coincidence.

  Mountain Snow

I really like how this one turned out. It's become one of my favorites.
I used to include something unrealistic in all the realistic scenes, something to find if you studied the image. This one is in the needles of the pine trees.
