This is based on an image I did as a concept for card backs for a game. It would have had a silhouette of a group of creepy minions however.

I didn't use lo-res models as the tiny trees in the background, so this image had over 22 trillion polygons. (69.6 trillion when rendering the dynamically generated parts.) Defiantly NOT a model of efficiency.

It might be sunset, or later in the evening, hard to tell time by the sun, when it just circles around the horizon all day.

I'm working on a collection of prints that will be sold in Alaska this summer. So to keep up with wallpapers as well, expect less variety in the themes for a month or two.

This is in the Fantasy category, as it isn't based on a real place. It is reminiscent of trees growing on granite in Yosemite, but the domes there look nothing like these leaning stones.

I used a grenade in the Improvised Robotic Device image, but it was a bit low res for it's own stand alone image, so this one was created nearly from scratch. it's a M26 fragmentation grenade.

I made the lights with primitive shapes in Vue 6, (Meta and Boolean objects) but as I kept making it more and more detailed, it ended up taking 64 hours to render. Which half way through, had me wondering if it would take 12 days.

This is the first image I have completed with the software Vue 6 beta, I have a few more, but they aren't finished yet, because I keep pushing too hard, and crashing the software.
