The reflective material, mercury maybe, sags under it's own weight, and dents the surface without breaking the surface tension.

This is made from multi-replicating metaballs in Bryce to form a curve, grouping them, and multi-replicating that into a bowl shape. Which takes more than a few tries to get just right.

Non-objective multiple multi-rotation calculations with morphing metaballs using Bryce 5.1

Bryce 5's trees refused to work the way I wanted, so I used complex models in the solid glass spheres instead. This turned out to be a mistake. Due to the intense reflection depth rendering, this took a week to render.

Bryce 5 has meta-balls that can create amorphic shapes like these bubbles.  (Dolphins do blow bubble rings.)

Using Bryce 5's new Metaball feature, this cave is created by showing the interior of a series of metaballs.

Aerial terrariums, my first use of the new interior reflections of Bryce 5. The trees are another of it's new abilities.
