  Shipwreck Beach

I had hoped my new computer I ordered would be here to help render. But thanks to a recall at Intel, it never made it past assembly.

  Improvised Robotic Device

How long till we see robot terrorists? Assembled from miscellaneous parts, this I.R.D. had to take a train, because he couldn't get on a plane with his cell phone. If he moves to pick his nose, run!

  Carnival

I put off images that give me trouble, switching back to a previous problem child. I switched back to this one which accepted my tweaking much better this time.

  Death of a Vampire

The idea for this one started while walking through a bookstore, and noticing just how many books, of all types, had skulls on the cover. Try counting them yourself next time.

  Gem Work

Difficult to make virtually, I can't imagine the difficulty in creating this in the real world.

  Far Keep

This one refused to finish rendering. I had to render it in pieces, and stitch it together. It's like the owner of this Keep didn't even want me messing with it. The wide version shows more of the maze.

  Pit Stop On Planetoid 9

This one was a trick to balance contrast when seen on different monitors. Some monitors the shadows appear light, others very dark. (luckily, both extremes look good.)

  Moonshrooms

On the edge of the giant mushroom plateau, watching the moon rise. Got all the way to uploading this before noticing one of the mushrooms didn't light up. I had to remake 1/3 of the image.

  Kaboom

This one has been sitting unfinished for a year, because the gray blast wave didn't like mixing with the fire, and kept crashing the computer. I figured out it would render once per loading of the image, only crashing the second attempt. So I reloaded after each test render, which let me finish.
