Screw conformity, be different! (look closer if the name confuses you.)

And you thought it was chilly when you came out of the womb...

The original concept was less gloomy, but more light would have conflicted with the mist. I like the mood it evokes.

This one went through several settings, and two horses before I finally had a finished image I was happy with. The horse was created in Poser, but I did a bit of tweaking, as I wasn't fond of the default horse.

The dragon was originally supposed to be flying over a shack on some rolling hills. But this background, I had done earlier, worked so well I had to change my plans.

The results of my first experiments with a new 3d terrain program I just discovered. The moon was added in Photoshop.

This turned out to be much more difficult than I thought. I wanted it to be a view from inside an ant hill, looking down several tunnels at once. But since you can only point the camera one direction at a time I had to opt for a more cavernous approach.
