  Atomic Dance Party

This is a fractal image. The spectral lens flare isn't added, it is actully part of the fractal. I am adding a category for fractals, and will be adding several more soon. See the search page to select the gallery.

  Where Glow Rods Grow

Under the setting star, where the glow rods grow, the ocean stretches far and we dream of long ago.

  Dark Side of the Moon

The space scenes are the most clicked on in the Sci-Fi gallery, so I will be adding more planetary images. They will probably remain in the sci-fi gallery, as the scaling and positioning of even the most realistic scenes, will still be dictated by composition more than reality.

  Improvised Robotic Device

How long till we see robot terrorists? Assembled from miscellaneous parts, this I.R.D. had to take a train, because he couldn't get on a plane with his cell phone. If he moves to pick his nose, run!

  Dogfight

It was tough trying to find how the guns fire on the Mustang. I found an old flight training manual for the plane that said the guns fire simultaneously so that the push on the plane is even. The b-29s are in a Group Javelin Down formation, the differences in altitude make them appear out of place.

  Pit Stop On Planetoid 9

This one was a trick to balance contrast when seen on different monitors. Some monitors the shadows appear light, others very dark. (luckily, both extremes look good.)

  Moonshrooms

On the edge of the giant mushroom plateau, watching the moon rise. Got all the way to uploading this before noticing one of the mushrooms didn't light up. I had to remake 1/3 of the image.

  Strange Beach

Normally I don't do images with alternate versions, but I liked both version of this one too much to drop one. A link to the other is on the wallpaper page, above the image.

  Bowling

Here's a striking wallpaper you can have a ball with in your spare time. (I couldn't pin down what I wanted to say about this turkey, wrong frame of mind I guess.)
