  Outhouse

I frame many of my images with a tree in the foreground, and since the primary use of the image is wallpaper, and majority of users icons run along the left side, I put the trees on the left.

  Storm On The Horizon

I need more dramatic lighting in my scenic images. I try not to add extra lights to keep it as realistic as possible.

  Medieval Village

I still see light in the tavern's windows, apparently dawn came early for the townsfolk.

  Eruption

This is a combination of two images. Terragen can't yet add the smoke and debris, so I did that part in Bryce. Which came out so well, it made me want to redo the Terragen part, but I had to stop playing somewhere.

  Palm Row

When you make your own images, remember after you finish, and before your ender, try wild new camera settings. This image improved greatly after widening the field of view. (I stopped short of tilting to the side.)

  Ambush

This is another one of those images that has been in progress for a couple of years, put aside each time it refused to cooperate.

  The Orb

Really dark images are difficult because I need to take into account some monitors are darker than others, hiding some details, but this image can be dramatic both ways.

  Soccer Ball

Bryce 5 handles complex models like this grass slower than Bryce 4, but the addition of the 'depth of field' more than makes up for it.
This is one of my more popular images. The grass in the foreground was even used on a Canadian postage stamp.

  Infatuation

This one has turned out to be one of the most popular images on the site. Downloaded over 1000 times on it's first day.
