The Sims 2 Easter Eggs
Going beyond face altering limits: Under "Modifiers" you can only move the slider to the end, yet you want the nose longer? Switch out of "Modifiers" to "Faces" and edit the eyes or any other object you have yet to edit, selecting one of the presets. (the picture above the slider) When you switch back to the nose, the slider will be in the middle again, yet the nose remains the previously selected length. Slide it to the end again making the nose longer. Repeat until the nose is as long as you want. (it works in both Sims 2 and the Body shop) Example Troll
Adding and extra floor to your house: (this will make you gasp, it's so easy) To get an extra floor on top of your lot building, put up walls on the top floor, then somewhere temporarily add a dormer. Just sit the small roofed room on the floor, and notice the grid appears around the top of the walls. Now hit undo to take the dormer back off. The ability to use the 5th floor will remain with this lot. Now you can add a floor or roof the new level. You can get 6 floors this way if you use the inside of the foundation as a floor. (see the Tower lot on my Sim page) "University" has a cheat, listed under "University Cheats" above, that allows setting the limit.
Import your own Painting: To decorate your house with custom artwork from outside the game, first your Sim must have a creativity level of 5 and be able to paint a still life. Have your Sim paint and a frame will appear that you can center on whatever you want to paint. If you want to paint a picture of something outside the Sims 2 game, just press "C" anywhere at this time. This will snap a picture of what the Sim intends to paint. Use Alt + Tab to minimize the game. The picture you just took will usually be in the folder: "My Documents\EA\Sims2\Storytelling\Snapshot.bmp" replace that image with a .bmp file of the same size. (153x263) Use Alt + Tab (un-minimize) to get back to your game and your sim will start painting your own custom picture. Using this trick you can put pictures of your friends or family, web pictures, or anything else in your Sims 2 game.

Revert altered land back to it's original slope: Ever delete a house with a basement and find your neighborhood now has a massive dent left in your once smooth ground? Make a new neighborhood with the same land form map, and place a lot on the piece of land you wish to revert. Move that new lot into the houses bin and switch back to the original neighborhood. Drag that lot over to the desired reversion point, and it will replace that insane hill that is impossible to smooth out. You can also use this trick to copy small hills.
