A peek inside helps when trying to figure out what something is.
Another one of those pretty 3d images of chrome objects.
The reflective material, mercury maybe, sags under it's own weight, and dents the surface without breaking the surface tension.
I wanted high contrast between the two hands, but not symmetrical, differences are never just black and white.
The original concept was more powdery splashes of color. But in compromising with the contrast I wanted, it ended up looking like damage from an intergalactic paintball war.
What would your known world look like? Mine would include most of North America, (at least down to Tijuana) but I hope to expand it further.

Really dark images are difficult because I need to take into account some monitors are darker than others, hiding some details, but this image can be dramatic both ways.
Two partial images sit for a long time, each needing a contrasting element to complete them. Turns out they can be complete, if they cooperate.
